Mr. Ramesha Naika is a Visiting Fellow with the Water Policy Center where he works on agriculture, water and food nexus. Besides, he is a Doctoral Candidate (Int.M.Phil-PhD) at the School of Rural Development, Tata Institute of Social Science Maharashtra, India researching on ‘Building Farmers Resilience in Global South’. Mr Naika has an M.Phil degree in Research and Development from Gandhi Gram Rural University,Tamil Nadu and from TISS, Mumbai. Mr. Naika has participated in Right to Livelihood Summer School held in Bangkong. He was also invited to speak at the International Civil Society and Sustainability Studies workshop at Lund University Sweden and in Sweden. He had awarded SCOPE foundation fellowship 2014-2016. Mr. Naika Was recognized by the “Seva Youth Guild” and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affair Government of India with “Swami Vivekananda Excellence Award 2019”. His research interest lies in Agricultural development and farmers resilience in global south, rural development, water resource management, etc. Mr. Ramesha has published in various national and international journals and books.
