Dr. Rajendra Baikady is a Research Associate with the Water Policy Center. He works on Social Work Education, Practice and Research. His present research interests are Social Work Education, Field Work Education in Social Work, Social Problems, Social Policy and Social Welfare. He holds a Golda Meir Post-Doctoral Fellow with Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and as a Senior Research Associate with the Department of Social Work, School of Humanities, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Apart from this, he is the recipient of several prestigious fellowships such as Confucius Institute Understanding China Fellowship at Shandong University, China. Ministry of Educations Short Term Research Award at National Chengchi University, Taiwan and University Research Committee, Special post-doctoral Fellowship at University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Baikady is editor, co-editor of several Handbooks and Major reference works with renowned publication houses like Palgrave Macmillan, Springer, Nature, Routledge and Oxford University Press. He has on-going international collaboration with researchers from China, Poland, Israel, Japan, Slovakia, Bangladesh and South Africa.
